Full Color

This is the default image type. The image will be displayed in the exact way the customer uploaded it.
It is recommended for pictures that will be printed in full color.

Grayscale

A grayscale effect will be applied to the image.
It is recommended when printing black and white images, or working with laser engraved photographs.

On the production file settings, the greyscale is always in black and white mode since it is intended to be printed in grayscale or engraved.

However, in the preview settings, you can change the base color for this grayscale and add transparency to make the preview more realistic, under the Appearance toolbox.

Single Color

A tracing effect will be applied to the image, transforming the picture into a vector.
It is recommended when working with laser engraved logos or drawings.

You can choose which single color you want images to be transformed to, by clicking the color palette or using the color picker. If using this for engraving we recommend to use black for the production file settings.

In the preview settings, you can change the base color for this single color filter and add transparency to make the preview more realistic, under the Appearance toolbox.

Important:
Image placeholders can have only one type. This means all images uploaded by customers into that placeholder will have the same style applied.
