Customily supports different types of libraries, each designed for a specific kind of asset.

Each library type is used to control how shoppers interact with your designs and templates.


Image Libraries

Image Libraries store images that can be selected and applied within designs.

They are typically used for classic clipart-style selections.

Image Libraries can be applied to:

  • Dynamic image elements


Color Libraries

Color Libraries store sets of colors that can be applied to customizable elements.

They are used to let shoppers choose between predefined color options.

Color Libraries can be applied to:

  • Text elements (box, curved, warped), including fill, stroke, and shadow

  • Vector elements (vector placeholder and vector upload) when using single-color mode

  • Image upload elements (placeholders) when using single-color mode

  • Solid backgrounds


Font Libraries

Font Libraries store font options that can be applied to text elements.

They are used when you want shoppers to choose between different fonts when personalizing text.

Font Libraries can be applied to:

  • Text elements (box, curved, warped)


Vector Libraries

Vector Libraries store clipart or graphic elements that can be selected and applied to designs.

They are used when shoppers need to choose from a set of predefined graphics.
