The preview in your store can be displayed in different ways. These are called preview styles.
There are three preview styles available. You must select one preview style for desktop and one preview style for mobile. You can choose the same style for both, or a different style for each.
The available styles are:
Modal Preview
A Personalize button is added to the product page. When customers click the Personalize button, a modal opens displaying the preview and personalization options.
As customers interact with the options, the preview updates in real time.
This is the default preview style when you install the Customily Options App.
- Open the Start/Store tab in the left menu.
- Go to 'Settings' in the top bar menu.
- Go to the 'Preview Behavior' tab and select the 'Modal Preview' preview style.
- Save
Product Page Preview
The personalization options and the preview are added directly to the product page. The options appear inside the product form, usually between the product title and the Add to cart button, while the preview is displayed over the product image.
When customers interact with the options, the preview replaces the product image and updates in real time.
- Open the Start/Store tab in the left menu.
- Go to 'Settings' in the top bar menu.
- Go to the 'Preview Behavior' tab and select the 'Product Page Preview' preview style.

Important
On some extensively modified themes, the Product Page Preview may not work as expected. If this is the case, please contact our support team for assistance.
Show Preview button
The personalization options and a Show Preview button are added to the product page. The options appear inside the product form, usually between the product title and the Add to cart button, while the Show Preview button is displayed at the end of the options.
When customers interact with the options, no preview is shown. The preview appears in a modal only when customers click the Show Preview button.
- Open the Start/Store tab in the left menu.
- Go to 'Settings' in the top bar menu.
- Go to the 'Preview Behavior' tab and select the 'Show Preview Button' preview style.

The Product Page Preview style can be combined with the Show Preview Button option. When enabled, a Show Preview button is added to the product page, allowing customers to open the preview in a modal window.
