Customizing Tile Styles
You can choose from a set of pre-designed styles that combine tile shape, texture, and color.
These styles include:
- Solid color tiles
- Wood grain finishes
- Glitter or metallic textures
- Rounded or square tile shapes
To change the tile style:
- Select the Crossword element
- Expand the Settings toolbox
- Use the Style dropdown to browse and select a tile style
Test how the crossword will look
At any point while setting up your crossword, you can test how it will behave for the shopper:
- Select the Crossword element
- In the side panel, type names on the “Try word to generate a crossword” field separated by a comma or a space
- Click generate test crossword to see it on the canvas
Keep in mind
Every time the crossword is regenerated (e.g. when changing styles, or pushing the generate test button), the layout may slightly change—unless the word combination has only one possible configuration.
