Sometimes, you want to enhance the visual look of your product preview — without changing anything in your actual print file. That’s exactly what dynamic images in the Preview (Step 2) are for.

These elements can include product variations (like different colors), decorative items (like props or backgrounds), or anything else that helps your shopper visualize what they’re buying.

When to Use a Dynamic Image on your Preview

Use this feature when you want to:

  • Show multiple product colors in one design

  • Add props or decorative elements that don’t need to be printed

  • Create mix-and-match setups (like bundles, or products with different fabrics or decorations)

Keep in mind

These images will be only visible on the storefront preview. They do not appear in the print files. If you want to add variations that will need to be printed, then you should add regular dynamic images on the Print File settings (Step 1).

To add a Dynamic image to the Preview

  1. Open your template in the Design Studio

  2. Go to Step 2 – Preview

  3. Click + Add Dynamic Image
