You can configure Customily to save personalization data at different stages of the shopping experience.

Save personalization data after adding to the cart

When this option is enabled, a property named _customily-customization-url is added to each item in the cart. This property contains a URL that opens the product with all the personalization details entered by the customer before adding it to the cart.

This is especially useful if you want to reuse the personalization URL in marketing campaigns, cart recovery, or other customer communications.

1. Open Start/Store
2. On the top menu, go to Settings
3. Open the Advanced settings tab and enable Save personalization data after adding to cart
4. Save

Save personalization data before adding to the cart

When enabled, Customily will save the personalization data in the customer’s browser. This allows the personalization to be restored if the customer refreshes the page or revisits the product page later.
