How to Offer Related Personalized Products in the Cart

With the selling group feature, you can automatically offer related personalized products in the cart whenever a customer adds a customized item. The system automatically transfers the existing personalization details to them, creating a seamless cross-selling experience.

Enable Cross-selling in the Cart

  1. Open the Customily App
  2. Go to the Settings tab

  3. Select the Advanced Settings

  4. Enable the "Show Cross-Selling in the cart" setting.

  5. Save the changes.

Steps to Create a Selling Group

  1. Open the Customily App
  2. Go to the Products tab

  3. Click on Manage Selling Groups

  4. Click on Create New Selling Group

  5. Assign a group name (internal) and a section title (shown in the cart)

  6. Add the first trigger product

  7. Select the related offer products

  8. Publish or save as a draft

Important

All products within a Selling Group should share the same Option Set.

However, you may enable this setting to relate products with slightly different Option Sets, as long as those differences do not affect personalization.

All Option Sets must remain functionally equivalent.

If they are not, the product will not be fully personalized and will not be eligible for the cart.
