The best way to use Customily with Etsy is to have your customer personalize your product after they completed their checkout. The following video shows how this process works:
Automatic print file delivery for digital products
When a product is marked as a Digital Product on Etsy, the merchant has two configuration options:
- Instant Download: Ready-made files that the buyer can access immediately upon purchase.
- Made-to-order downloads: Custom files made to a buyer’s specification that will be sent to them upon completion.
Regardless of the selected configuration, the buyer will always receive the Proof of Personalization email, including the final print file generated by Customily.
Tip
We recommend using Instant Download whenever possible.
This is the easiest setup, as you can upload a generic instruction file for the buyer to download immediately after purchase. Customers won’t be left waiting for their final file, and you won’t need to complete the order manually.
