The Products section is where you manage how your ecommerce products connect with Customily.

Here you can find the products from your connected store, see which ones are already using Customily, add personalization to existing products, and manage products that have already been configured.

Some features and workflows may vary depending on the ecommerce platform you're using.

How products work with Customily

A product from your store becomes personalizable with Customily when you connect it to two main components: a Template and an Option Set.

• The Template powers the personalized design, generating the live preview shoppers see as they personalize the product and the print-ready file used to fulfill the order.

• The Option Set is the interactive personalization form shoppers use on your store. It connects their choices to the Template, determining how the design changes as they enter text, upload images, select options, and more.

Together, the Template and Option Set turn a regular ecommerce product into an interactive personalized product.

How to connect a product with Customily

There are two main ways to connect a product with Customily:

Create and publish a new personalized product

You can create a personalized product in Customily by choosing a Product Base, adding a Design, and configuring its personalization.

Once your setup is ready, you can publish the product to your ecommerce store. The new product will appear in Products with its Customily personalization already connected.

Add personalization to an existing product

If you've already created a product in your ecommerce store, you can connect it to Customily from Products.

Open the product and connect a Template and Option Set to add personalization without having to create a new product.

Managing your products

Once a product is connected to Customily, you can open it from Products to review and manage its personalization setup and product-specific settings.

You can also browse, search, and filter your product catalog to quickly find the products you want to work with.
